Doona's infant car seat and stroller combination is a great option. It's the only fully integrated travel system that allows you to change from the car seat to the stroller without causing any disruption to your baby.

Simple to Use

Parents should have a car seat and stroller combination that is simple to use. These systems allow you to switch between running errands, walking the dog, or going for a jog. You can also adapt to the changing requirements of your child so that you can have fun with your family adventures. Our testers love the ease and speed with which these travel systems move, regardless of whether they have one front wheel or a rotating front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain Pro combo are particularly easy to maneuver however, the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo can be pushed effortlessly with just one hand.

Certain models are difficult to attach or detach from the base, though. The Doona Combo requires a two step process of attachment, and straps which cover the bottom of the infant carrier. It's tempting to bypass these steps, but this could result in dangerous outcomes.

Certain models are also more difficult to fold and store than others, making them less convenient. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold due to its massive dimensions and bulky frames. The model also has a tiny canopy that some test users find to be disappointing. However, the Britax Parkway Click and Go Combo is easy to fold with a pull of the lever and a click of the button. This model is also a great option for parents who intend on using their car seats on other vehicles, since it can be removed from the base and attached to any stroller that is standard.

Easy to Fold

It should be easy to fold and unfold the car seat, no matter if you're storing it in your trunk, or in a closet. The most efficient combinations we've tried fold easily in one hand and are durable enough to withstand long walks. They are also easy to maneuver and glide smoothly over uneven surfaces. Some combos are linked and disengaged by straps. This may be a bit like a second step and could make it difficult for parents to secure their child's car seat properly.

The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is an excellent choice due to its robust construction and convenient features, including a large storage bin that is accessible from the front or back. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it easy to achieve a secure car seat installation simply by connecting the lower anchors by pulling the straps tightly and clicking the carrier into the base.

It's also quite light and compact, making it an excellent choice for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. Both the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo, and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored highly in our ease of use tests. Both have a single front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed! Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also come with a versatile spinner wheel, ideal for running errands and shopping. The only drawback is that they're very heavy and it can be difficult to lift them up when you're carrying children in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combos can be difficult to put together.  2 in 1 prams  discovered that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the most simple to put together. It even comes with a quick-start guide that makes putting this system together easy. Other models, including the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also fairly easy to put together. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however is a bit difficult to put together. It requires two steps connecting the lower anchors and using straps that cover the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, and it requires two hands to snap the carrier into the base and then remove it from there.

In our tests we took about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together. This is relatively fast when you consider the amount of time it can save by not having to remove the pieces. The toddler seat can be put together and removed easily on the majority of these models.
